Lindsey Danvers

Lindsey’s West End credits include: - Grizabella in CATS (New London Theatre), Fantine in LES MISERABLES (Palace Theatre), Jade in METROPOLIS (Piccadilly Theatre), Mary in TOM BROWN’S SCHOOLDAYS (Cambridge Theatre), CLOSER THAN EVER (Criterion Theatre) and HEY MR PRODUCER at the Lyceum Theatre.

Lindsey was a founder member of the all girl group TOTO COELO (recently featured on TV as the original Spice Girls!), with television appearances on TOP OF THE POPS, chart successes including the Top Ten hit ‘I EAT CANNIBALS’, album MAN O’ WAR and extensive touring worldwide, also a featured artist on RIGHT SAID FRED’s album ‘TUG’ and recordings as LILY D with brother and record producer TOMMY D. Lindsey has also recorded a number of Musical Theatre compilations including collaboration with THE ROYAL PHILHARMONIC and has just released a new CD WE DEFINE EACH OTHER.

Joanna Ampil

Joanna comes from Manila, Philippines. She has been a leading artist in the West End and abroad since she arrived in London in 1992. Carmen Cusack

TRAINING: Opera Scholarship at the University of North Texas.

OPERA: debut as a boy soldier in Bizet’s opera CARMEN at Jone’s Hall Opera House, Houston, Texas, Clorinda in CINDERELLA, Melisande in PELEAS ET MILISANDE and Adele in STRAUSS’ DIE FLEDERMAUS.

MUSICAL THEATRE: Chesty Prospects in SAUCY JACK & THE SPACE VIXENS; Eva Cassidy in OVER THE RAINBOW; ON THE TOWN; OKLAHOMA!; KISS ME KATE; ME AND MY GIRL; Mimi in CAN-CAN; Marian in THE MUSIC MAN; Christine in THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA, Manchester and Edinburgh; Fantine in LES MISERABLES, Palace Theatre London, National Tour and also at the Point Dublin with Colm Wilkinson. Carmen was also asked to join the American cast of LES MISERABLES for a special exchange trip to China. She appeared in PERSONALS, a four hander by the writers of ‘Friends’ at the Apollo Theatre Shaftesbury Avenue, had the title role in a new production LAURA at The Palace Theatre, Westcliffe and played Rose in the RSC production of THE SECRET GARDEN, transferring to the Aldwych Theatre.

CABARET/CONCERTS: Carmen recently spent a year as a leading vocalist aboard the QUEEN ELIZABETH II performing alongside such names as Neil Sedaka and Tony Bennett. She has performed extensively in concerts in the UK and abroad and performs weekly in a cabaret venue in London’s West End. She has also toured Taiwan playing Fantine in a concert version of LES MISERABLES.

 
Mark O’malley

Mark is originally from Glasgow and before coming into professional theatre many years ago he trained to be a nurse! He performed leading roles in many West End shows such as Notre Dame de Paris at the Dominion Theatre, Forbidden Broadway at the Albery Theatre, played Christopher Scott in Miss Saigon at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane. He has played Marius and Enjolras in Les Miserables both UK tours and at the Palace Theatre and performed in the 10th Anniversary concert of Les Miserables at the Albert Hall.

Other highlights of his career include Black Goes with Everything featuring hit songs written by Don Black, the title character in You're a Good Man Charlie Brown at Oldham Coliseum, The Beautiful Game workshop and playing Judas Iscariot in the Really Useful Group's 2001 UK tour of Jesus Christ Superstar.

Mark was also a finalist in the BBC Radio 2 International Voice of Musical Theatre 2000 and guests for Radio 2 regularly on Friday Night is Music Night. Recently he has performed on the QE2 and other cruise liners celebrating musical theatre, performed in a concert version of Evita in Larnaca Amphitheatre and entertained the Russians with Musicals through the Ages in Moscow and St Petersburgh. He has also played tribute to Matt Munro in Moments of Magic and played Friar Laurence and Lord Montague in the workshop of the West End musical Romeo and Juliet at the Old Vic.

Sarah Ryan

Sarah Ryan was born in Lichfield and educated at Wrekin College, Shropshire. In 1988 she won the BBC Choirgirl Of The Year competition, and the following year, recorded a one-hour radio special, Sarah Ryan Sings. She has since made numerous broadcasts for BBC Radios 2 and 4, in guest appearance with Gloria Hunniford, Chris Stuart, Roger Royle, Derek Jameson and Don McLean. Sarah is currently appearing in Evita at the Adelphi Theatre.

Theatre credits include: Christine in Phantom Of The Opera (Opera House, Manchester & Her Majesty’s Theatre, London); Christine in Ken Hill’s Phantom Of The Opera (UK tour); Les Miserables (Palace Theatre, Manchester & Palace Theatre, London) where she understudied and played the role of Cosette; the original London company of Disney’s Beauty & The Beast (Dominion Theatre, London); Josephine in HMS Pinafore (UK tour) for Opera Della Luna and Cinderella in the E&B production of Cinderella, opposite Brian Conley (Theatre Royal, Plymouth). In 2003 Sarah took part in the workshop of The Woman in White. Sarah was also part of the Olivier Award Winning Ensemble of Jerry Springer the Opera (Cambridge Theatre, London) where she understudied and played the role of Shawntel (the poledancer!)

Concert work includes: Soprano soloist since 1999 with the English National Orchestra conducted by Jae Alexander, playing historic venues such as Castle Howard, Battle Abbey, Tonbridge Castle, Weston Park, Belton House, Shugborough Hall, Stoneleigh Abbey and Duxford Imperial War Museum to audiences of up to 17,000 ; Soprano Soloist at Proms on the Pitch (Wessex Stadium, Weymouth) with Aled Jones, G4 and Myleene Klass; Soprano soloist with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra at the Rose Bowl, Southampton; Guest soloist in a series of concerts at the world-famous Raffles Hotel in Singapore; Candide (Royal Festival Hall), HMS Pinafore (Proms, Royal Albert Hall), Friday Night is Music Night (BBC Radio 2) and Sondheim at 75 (Hackney Empire, recorded for BBC Radio 3) for the Maida Vale Singers; Principal soloist in Some Enchanted Evening (Proctor’s Theatre New York, plus UK, South Africa & Taiwan tours); 10th Anniverary Concert of Les Miserables (Royal Albert Hall); guest soloist at the TV Times Concert for Leukemia (Royal Albert Hall).

Television appearances include: Songs Of Praise (BBC1); Daytime Live (BBC); A Virgin Most Pure (Channel 4); and First Light (BBC).

Michael Xavier

Michael trained at the Manchester Metropolitan University where he played the parts of John in Oleanna, Man in Night, John in A Life In Theatre, Barry in Saved, the Archbishop in Edward II and Robbie in Shopping And F****ing.

Michael is currently playing Raoul in the West End production of Phantom Of The Opera and he also recently played Sky in the International Tour of Mamma Mia! Other theatre credits include Freddy Eynsford-Hill in My Fair Lady (Theatre Royal, Drury Lane), Miss Great Plains in Pageant (Vaudeville Theatre and King’s Head Theatre), Nankipoo in The Mikado (UK Tour), Understudy Chris in Miss Saigon (Original UK Tour), Prince Florizel in Sleeping Beauty (Corn Exchange, Newbury) and Paul in Salt Of The Earth (Knutsford Theatre).

Film credits include Simon in Simon And Sheila (Fluid Television Prods) and Rowan in Ordinary Normal (University of Derby).

Radio credits include Artie Green in Sunset Boulevard (Cork Opera House) with Michael Ball and PetulaClarke.

He is also a lead singer for West End International (conducted by Martin Yates), performing in concerts across Europe, including Best Of The West End, The Musical World Of Lerner & Loewe and Thank You For The Music.

 
David Bardsley

Originally from Lancashire, David came to London to train as an actor in the late eighties. He very quickly established himself as a principal actor in new and long-running West End shows including; Buddy, Blood Brothers, Kiss Of The Spiderwoman, Les Miserables, The Fix, Guys & Dolls, La Cava, Romeo & Juliet, Billy Elliott and others, working with some of the world’s top theatrical directors including John Caird, Richard Eyre, Hal Prince, Sam Mendes and Stepehn Daldry.

He is also a film and television actor, frequently guest-starring in programmes such as Coronation Street, Eastenders, The Bill, Doctors and Holby City.

As a concert performer David has worked as a soloist on radio and with many top orchestras, including the Brandenburg Philharmonic, the Royal Philharmonic Concert, the Bournmouth Philharmonic, the BBC Concert and the BBC Big Band, performing all over the world from the UK to America, Africa and the Far East.

More recently David has moved into writing and directing. Currently he has in development a musical adaptation of the Brando classic; On The Waterfront and a screenplay in development with Portman Films. On top of this he has begun writing and performing his own material as a stand-up comedian.

With degree students, David works both as an acting coach and as a project leader in the devising of original musical theatre material. He has also begun to build a body of directing work including fully staged productions of The Wiz and Hair. David can currently be seen appearing at the Victoria Palace Theatre, London as Billy’s Dad in the acclaimed production of Billy Elliott.

He is married with two children.

 
Cavin Cornwall

Cavin was England’s Junior Karate Champion at the age of 17, then briefly went on to become a member of the England Karate Squad, before beginning his training at the Bird College, Kent.

Theatre credits include Billy Flynn in CHICAGO, Adelphi Theatre, National Tour, Japan, Korea; Narrator in NIL BY MOUTH, Duke of York, London; Understudy Captain Ebony in Dave Clarke’s TIME; Rum Tum Tugger in CATS; John in MISS SAIGON, Theatre Royal, London; featured performer in the musical FOSSE - Prologue, Crunchy Granola, Dancin’ Dan and Old Bojangles, Prince of Wales; Ramone in WEEKEND IN RIO, Plymouth Theatre Royal, Edinburgh Festival; Police Seargant in THE FULL MONTY, Prince of Wales. He also appeared in RAGTIME at the International Festival of Musical Theatre in Cardiff.

Television credits include STREETS AHEAD, Channel 4; THE LENNY HENRY SHOW, THE LOOK OF LOVE and commercials for Phillips Television and Echo Communications.

Film credits include DE- LOVERLY,COLE; FOX TRAP; JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR, Lloyd Webber’s remake.

Cavin can be heard in many voice-overs for television, radio and animation. He can most recently be heard providing the voice for Biggie Smalls in Channel 4’s cult animation HOUSE OF ROCK and singing Hairy Old Cortina in the Nescafe commercial.

 
Daniel Boys

Daniel trained at The Guildford School of Acting, where he was the recipient of a scholarship on recommendation by The Cameron Mackintosh Foundation. He graduated in 2001 with a B.A. (Hons).

Theatre credits include; The National Tour of Jeff Wayne’s The War of the Worlds, where he played the role of Parson Nathaniel for the world premiere, Peter in Peter Pan (Wyvern Theatre, Swindon), Songs For A New World (Harlequin Theatre, Redhill), Jack in Jack and The Beanstalk (Wyvern Theatre, Swindon), Doody in Grease (Scandinavian Tour and The Municipal Amphitheatre, Cyprus), The Lover in The Good Friday Trilogy (Bridewell Theatre), Tony in West Side Story (European Tour), Muddles in Snow White (Buxton Opera House), Roger in Grease (Victoria Palace Theatre and JapanTour), Morino in Sunset Boulevard (National Tour) and Alternate Mark in Rent (National Tour and Prince of Wales Theatre).

In the summer of 2004 Daniel sang at the BBC’s Family Prom, Disney’s Enchanted Evening, which was staged in London’s Hyde and broadcast on BBC 1 over the Christmas period. Other Concerts include; Rent in concert (Millfield Arts Centre), Noel Coward, The Centenary Celebrations (Savoy Theatre) and with the cast of Grease, Party in the Park 2003 (Hyde Park), which was broadcast live on Channel 5. Other TV credits include; an ident for BBC 4, Children In Need, The Musical (BBC), Blue Peter (BBC) and singing ‘The Twelve Days of Christmas’ on The Disney Channel!
