One of Oman's leading forerunners in construction and urban development has tripled its growth, diversity and output over the last 24 months determining an exciting cache of luminous projects in its existing portfolio. In and among these lucrative projects, this enterprising and tender-winning group of companies has won the vote of prestigious Omani urban and coastal projects to handle the landscaping design and greening requirements for the long term.

Proud to be associated with these projects, our client has expanded their landscaping design division and subsequently seeks 2 experienced and fully qualified landscape architect designers to take up managerial posts within the group. The first vacancy is that of Senior Landscape Architect Designer while the second post of Landscape Architect Designer - both offering an excellent and competitive salary package (respectively) within congenial office surrounding. Prime growth opportunities and standard benefits are to be expected in one of Oman's longest running contracting and project development firms.

Both design posts are Oman-based in the heart of Muscat, the country's capital. Candidates should hold at least (respectively)15 and 5 years continual experience in large scale projects in landscape architecture design with registered landscaping and design practices and should be degree qualified to undertake these important and challenging tasks

Suitable applicants will be expected to play a key management role as well as having the personable attributes to manage their staff, clients, suppliers and contractors alike with the added tenacity to tackle large-scale landscaping and design projects with skilled determination to meet the ongoing excellence that our client upholds. Computer draught and presentation skills, design – from concept to working drawings, producing detailed bills of quantities, tender documentation and work documentation - working on and off site with open communication to / from all parties associated with the projects is essenital.

Candidates with a working knowledge and good understanding of the local climate and regions (and / or landscaping under harsh climatic conditions) will be a critical advantage. Local climate & environment understanding important. Both roles demand team-workers capable of managing the full spectrum of landscape architecture deisgn with an solid understanding of the implementation process.
